Invitations and addressing and more fun for you and yours!

My creations of lettering art range from invitations (and the addressing that gets them to your guests!) to individually commissioned paintings that just happen to have words as part of the design, as shown on the previous section. Clients will also request calligraphic lettering for commercial work (e.g., headlines or titles). Browse through the invitations and calligraphic examples section; then email me with your ideas, and we can get together to map a path toward creation!

  1. Multi-piece Wedding Invitation

This bride's mom—me!!— enjoyed creating a very special invitation, including individualized custom artwork on the cover that included the couple's names, making each invitation a unique presentation.

  2. Multi-piece Wedding stationery

The calla lily theme of this wedding was carried through the invitation itself, the rehearsal dinner invitation and the envelopes for each.

  3. Multi-element Wedding Invitation

This couple chose to include pictures and additional greetings in the envelope with their invitation and extended their snowflake theme to the thank you notes.

  4. Wedding Invitation

This couple requested a drawing of the venue where they met. I included my drawing in black outline on the invitation and "tipped in" color with watercolor on each after the printing.

  5. Custom wedding invitation

This couple requested an orchid illustration which I drew in graphite and printed with the text.

  6. Lettering styles for addressing

This image shows several of the lettering styles that many clients choose for weddings and special events.

  7. Bridal Shower invitation

An evening bridal shower "required" an elegant invitation!

  8. Reception invitation

Having been married in Hawaii, this couple's reception back home had a Pacific island theme, using Hawaiian hibiscus flowers throughout the stationery.

  9. Certificate of Marriage

Based on the traditional Quaker wedding certificate, couples often request illustrations of themes that have meant a great deal in their lives together.

  10. Wedding vows

The perfect anniversary gift! In this creation, the couple requested illustrations that were reminiscent of the wedding arch under which they were married.

  11. Reception menu

Following the wedding theme through to the reception tables, having a menu lettered and printed is an elegant touch.

  12. 60th Birthday Party Invitation

You have the right to remain FABULOUS!!
