I have an ongoing interest in the medium of watercolor and its reputation as "having a mind of its own"!! My aim is to strike a balance between my representational images and the beauty of the watercolor being allowed to move where it will. My choices of images are usually directed by my interest in presenting a challenge to myself. For example, bicycles and their intricacies work for my need for representation, but also allow for movement in the shadows and background colorations. I think I have not exhausted the possibilities, so look for more bicycles to be included in this slideshow!!
